Parish President Forum with Livingston Parish Candidates hosted by the Livingston Parish Chamber set for October 3, 2023

The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce is hosting a parish president forum on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.  The event will be held at the Suma Community Center at the Satsuma Exit of I 12. 

Both candidates running for the parish president seat, Jeff Ard and Randy Delatte, have confirmed they will participate in the event.  Both candidates will be given an opportunity for opening and closing statements along with a series of questions and answers.

Prior to the parish president forum, candidates who are running for parish council seats have been invited to offer an introduction.  As of this press release, twelve candidates for council seats have been confirmed and one has declined.  In addition, sheriff candidates have been invited to participate through brief introductions and to date neither has confirmed. 

The program begins at 6:00 p.m. and doors will open at 5:15 p.m. In addition, the event will be videoed and placed on the chamber’s social media pages.
