AT&T Fiber, Ultra-Fast Internet Speeds Now Available to More Locations in Livingston Parish

DENHAM SPRINGS, LA., January 26, 2021 — Continuing our efforts to close the digital divide and connect people wherever they live and work, AT&T* is expanding our award-winning fiber network to serve more residential and small business locations in Livingston Parish.

This week, AT&T announced new availability of AT&T Fiber to more than 500 residential and small business locations in the neighborhoods on the northern side of Denham Springs and further north in the Parish along Highway 16.

The expanded network will give more residents access to ultra-fast home internet speeds. The residents in these areas are among many in Livingston Parish where AT&T Fiber is available.

“As we continue to look for opportunities to expand access to modern, high-speed connectivity, these investments from AT&T and others in the private sector are critical to delivering connectivity to residents and businesses in our communities. These efforts are most welcomed and coincide with the efforts of our Link Up LIVINGston Committee,” said State Representative Buddy Mincey, Jr.

AT&T’s robust fiber-optic network connects communities across the state, delivering ultra-fast Internet to homes and businesses and providing the backbone for the Fastest Nationwide 5G Network.[1]

“Fast, reliable broadband is essential for work, education and entertainment,” said Matt Adams, Regional Director, AT&T Louisiana. “That’s why we are continually working to close the digital divide by expanding our fiber footprint and delivering ultra-fast internet that keeps residents and businesses connected.”

This week, AT&T introduced its all-new 2 Gig and 5 Gig speeds on AT&T Fiber across select parts of our footprint – the fastest internet among major providers.
