Livingston Parish Leadership Project “The Dream Angels” Brings Sweet Dreams to Children in Need

Livingston Parish, LA –  July 11th, 2025 – The Livingston Parish Leadership Project proudly recognizes the outstanding efforts of its project group, “The Dream Angels,” whose initiative, The Sweet Dreams Fund, is making a real difference for children and families in crisis.

The Sweet Dreams Fund addresses a critical need in the local community: access to beds for children and families experiencing hardship. In partnership with The Family Village (TFV) in Walker, Louisiana—a nonprofit that serves as a vital resource hub for families—the Dream Angels raised over $20,000 to provide more than 100 beds and other essential resources for families in need.

Project Highlights:

  • Funds Raised: $21,600

  • Volunteer Hours: 200+

  • Families Impacted: 100

Funds for the project are administered through the Livingston Chamber Foundation, ensuring accountability and maximizing community impact. The Dream Angels’ dedication demonstrates how local leadership and collaboration can create tangible benefits for families in our community.
