Livingston Parish Chamber Welcomes The Purple Cow

Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce welcomed the Purple Cow to Livingston Parish with a Ribbon Cutting on their Grand Opening day. The Purple Cow’s opening drew in a significant crowd of people with a line that seemed to continuously grow in size. This popular thrift store was ready to hit the ground running with a DJ, amazing deals, giveaways, photo booth, and food trucks.

The Purple Cow now has three locations in the Greater Baton Rouge area, this one being the first in Livingston Parish located in the Spring Park Plaza off Range Avenue. They are not only a great place to make purchases, but also a great place to donate gently used items you no longer use. By donating your gently used items to resell, you make it possible for the Christian Outreach Center of Baton Rouge to help struggling families. Along with clothing, home goods, furniture, and accessories, they also accept monetary donations and volunteers to help around the store. Monetary donations and sales all help to fund a homeless intervention ministry in Baton Rouge.
