RE:  Chamber Names Ambassador of the Year

(Denham Springs, LA) - Steve Bernard, Client Technology Services, has been named the Livingston Parish Chamber Ambassador of the Year for 2019.  The winner of the award is chosen annually by peer ambassadors through a voting system based on the the ambassador's actions in outreach to both chamber members and future members.

Steve was awarded the event at the final chamber luncheon of the year.  The luncheon included an overview of the Livingston Council on Aging by Kay Granger, Executive Director.  Cox Business Sales Manager, Meri Burroughs was the event sponsor.

"The chamber model depends heavily on a volunteer base of committee members.  The role of an ambassador can vary and is dependent on the commitment level of each ambassador.  Steve is present at many of the chamber functions and serves on other committees in addition to his role as ambassador." states April Wehrs, Chamber President.

Lori Johnson, Hancock Whitney Bank, is the assigned chair for 2020.  "Lori's leadership and enthusiasm as Ambassador Chair will bring our program to a new level.  We are excited for what 2020 will bring," states Wehrs.
