Louisiana Eye Care is seeking a full time optometric assistant to join our team who is eager to work, excited to assist patients with great customer service skills and can communicate effectively with patients & coworkers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Preparing the patient to see the doctor

Assisting the doctor

Sending in prescription medication

Calling patients about their contact lenses

Checking patients in/out

Collecting payment from patients

Interpreting vision & medical insurance benefits

Answering phone calls, responding to patients texts, and emails

Greeting patients

Scheduling appointments
