LYP | Livingston Young Professionals Member Meeting
What's the plan for this LYP Member Meeting?
Guest Speaker: Chris Crosby with Combat Athletics (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and MMA fighter)
Chris Crosby Chris Crosby is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, USA Sambo National Champion, and a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter representing his own gym, Combat Athletics. Chris has an 8-4 record as a professional fighter, currently on a 3-win streak, winning all three matches by armbar. Combat Athletics is a family-friendly material arts studio in Watson, LA, serving adults and children, teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts. As a former elementary school teacher, Chris uses educational techniques from the classroom to relay information to his students.

About LYP: 21-40's have an organization in Livingston Parish to call their own, Livingston Young Professionals. 80 plus members, and growing, offers a greater opportunity for this age group to form a network, have a voice and make a difference in your community. LYP Member Meetings, Professional Development, Community Service and Socials are some of the ways the program is delivered. The group is led by an advisory council of officers who work closely with the Chamber to achieve overall goals of making Livingston Parish Better.
