2024 - Walker Disc Golf Park at Old Milton

About Us

Walker Disc Golf Park located in Walker, Louisiana is one of the premier disc golf attractions in the region. Opened in May of 2025 with a few items to bring it to its full completion. The course already boasts a 4.9 rating by golfers who have played the course.

The 18 acre land area was purchased from a local developer by the City of Walker with the intention of adding to the city's already impressive park's system. In 2023, the city requested the partnership with the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce and its Leadership Livingston Program.

The project was adopted as a class project group who raised over $40,000.00 to support the project.
With the online reach of the LP Chamber / Leadership Program, the BR Disc Golf Association reached out to recommend the services of Avery Jenkins, premier disc golf course designer. The chamber partnered the 2 and the city began a cooperative. The project began clearing in 2023 and the official project reveal and grand opening was held on Friday, May 30, 2025, with the City of Walker, Leadership Livingston, Livingston Parish Chamber and the Livingston Chamber Foundation.

Over 50 sponsors contributed to the Livingston Chamber Foundation that administered the funds to purchase the course design with Avery Jenkins, course baskets, concrete tee boxes, signage and landscaping on the project.
